Fee for Service

We utilize a sliding scale to calculate the fee for our services for all clientele.

The sliding scale is based on the combined gross income of the family that wishes to hire us to provide their doula care. We charge our fees in this way because we firmly believe that having a doula is a right rather than a privilege and that ALL pregnant mothers and families deserve to have a doula.

Because of these values, fees must be quoted on a family-by-family basis.

After receiving a quote for doula care you may wonder why doula care costs so much?

Being a doula is a major commitment. We arrange our lives to be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, two weeks before and two weeks after your due date. Many births are 14-20 hours or longer. Combine that with 6+ hours of prenatal work, up to 2 hours of immediate postnatal time and 2-4 hours of in-home postpartum support and you can see that one birth can easily mean that we have spent 24+ hours supporting your families every birth need. While our fees can feel like a lot of money, the data show that the benefits of having a doula in attendance at your birth are significant and lasting.

Are you looking for a low or no-cost doula?
